An established healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations at a respected Critical Access Hospital in Western New York. This leadership position offers the opportunity to oversee all aspects of inpatient pharmacy services, including regulatory compliance, budgeting, formulary management, quality improvement initiatives, medication safety programs, and staff development. Working within a collaborative acute care environment, the Director will partner closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and hospital administration to drive operational excellence and support high-quality patient care. This is primarily a weekday leadership role with a comprehensive benefits package and long-term growth potential.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD and be eligible to obtain New York pharmacist licensure (if NY license isn't already held at time of application). Applicants should have a minimum of three years of acute care hospital pharmacy management experience. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong operational, financial, regulatory, and team leadership skills, along with a commitment to fostering a positive, patient-centered culture. Retail-only backgrounds will not be considered unless accompanied by the required hospital management experience.
